Commercial diver, airplane and hang-glider pilot, biodynamic agriculturist, Holistic Pulsing practitioner, illustrator and writer, Paul's broad variety of interests has enriched his life experience beyond imagination. Above and below the waterline, he has captured images for publications as diverse as National Wildlife Magazine, Maui, Inc., Gulf Times of Doha, and The Sea Shepherd Log.
Paul's love and concern for the environment and the study of ecology have been primary influences in his evolution as a photographer, writer, and Natural Rights activist.
"Appreciation for Nature's exquisite design led to awareness of mankind's responsibilities within the functional intricacies of the Natural Order.
Man's "extinctionistic" prohibition laws, resulting from three generations of disinformation, have created critical environmental, social and economic imbalances, leading inevitably to war. It is likely that synergistic collapse of Natural systems will accelerate, if disrepect for the balance of Earth's environment continues.
"Organic agriculture is the logical primary base for a sustainable global economic system. Making fuel from plants that also produce food, respects the balance of Nature and would distribute essential resources more equitably.
"The spiritual bankruptcy of mankind's economic addiction to toxic energy and chemical agriculture is the most blatantly hypocritical aspect of it.These photographs are, in a way, pagan prayers for the emergence of reason, humbly offered on behalf of All Our Relations."
After shooting digital video in Europe and Mexico, Paul is currently in Seattle, editing a documentary of the global renaissance of the Cannabis (hemp, 'marijuana') plant, being used for fuels, food, medicines, building materials, clothing and paper. Some images in his portfolio are from the video. Proceeds from the sale of this work fund post-production and distribution of the film, "Return to Reason", targeted for July 2005.
Available for assignment, shooting both stills and digital video. A complete resume is available upon request.
